One of the best, yet healthiest things you can do to lose weight is by drinking more water. I'm in favor of any program that promotes whole foods over hyper-processed fare, and this is one thing the popular diet plans can agree on. Overly processed foods have been linked to weight gain, perhaps because many unhealthy packaged foods (think: potato chips, ice cream, frozen pizza, cookies and the like) lack the fiber found in many whole foods, including vegetables. Fiber helps fill us up , and research suggests that by simply adding more fiber to your menu, you can lose weight nearly as well as a more complicated approach. Consistently choosing whole foods is one way to do this.

Humans need a wide range of nutrients to lead a healthy and active life. For providing these nutrients, good nutrition or proper intake of food in relation to the body's dietary needs is required. An adequate, well balanced diet combined with regular physical activity is a cornerstone of good health. Poor nutrition can lead to reduced immunity, increased susceptibility to disease, impaired physical and mental development, and reduced productivity.
These vegetables are a storehouse of vitamins, minerals, protein, fiber and phytonutrients. Green leafy vegetables include broccoli, spinach, kale, chard, parsley. spinach is a low calorie vegetable, high in water content, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and fiber. Being rich in fiber, Spinach helps to cure constipation by cleansing the digestive tract. Just one serving of spinach will keep you feel full until your next meal.
In his book he talked about how he first came to test this diet on a patient who suffered from stomach sores for three years. Left with no other recourse, the patient approached Stanley who recommended that he undertake the cleanse diet. After eleven days, the patient was totally healed leaving doctors amazed. Many other cases followed and the results were consistent curing the patients within ten days. Of particular note also was that those undergoing the Master Cleanse also experienced a reduction in weight.
