When I came home and returned to work, I found I was back to eating when I wasn't necessarily hungry eg. when I may not have been hungry until 9-ish in the morning, I really had to have breakfast at 6.30 before leaving for work as I wouldn't get a break until midday and I knew I wouldn't be able to last that long (absolutely no eating at my desk). And again, having had breakfast, I wasn't really all that hungry at midday, but could I last until I finished at 4pm? No, so I ate at lunchtime. And then came dinnertime which had to be reasonably early as I was up very early the next day for a long commute back to work and if I didn't have dinner I wouldn't be able to last until breakfast (I tried a couple of times and woke after midnight ready to gnaw on my own arm!).

The phrase "there's an app for that" is pretty much a well-worn cliché at this point. But if you're trying to lose weight and stick to a diet, there's definitely an app for that—actually, there are hundreds. But not all of them actually work. In fact, many of them are based on shoddy research or advice from self-styled "experts" who don't actually know what they're talking about.
