Dr Fredricks reviews in that book all of the different religious traditions and where they come from. We recognize that we are not a spiritually directed facility. In other words, we have doctors with all kinds of different beliefs. We are not the place to teach people how to get into heaven or what flavor of religion to believe. We certainly respect and acknowledge the fact that fasting tends to help people tap into an inner self. That is what I would consider as a positive side effect of fasting. Our approach is really a clinical approach, which is creating an environment where the body can do what it does best, and that is heal itself.

Working out in the water is therapeutic as it works to develop strength and resistance while building your cardio profile. The cool and relaxed environment of the water is good for your joints. It increases muscle strength and workout endurance. It is because resistance in water is greater than the resistance in the air since water flows in multiple directions, causing unpredictable movements in the body. Aqua aerobics increases strength, flexibility, and agility.
